Why are Bluetooth transmitters a good solution if you don't want to replace your existing speakers or TV?
With these devices, you can conjure a Bluetooth player from any device with jack input / output. It can also transmit and receive, you just need to change the direction with the switch on the side. Since the connection works in both directions, there is no device with which it would not be compatible, so its use is unlimited.
Why are Bluetooth codecs good for you?
Because they can transmit the full bandwidth of music files in “CD-like” resolution, i.e. 16-bit / 44.1 kHz. It is “CD-like” and not “CD-quality” because codecs (protocols) perform a compression that helps reduce audio encoding delays and minimizes latency. The classic aptX has a compression ratio of 4: 1 and a data rate of 352kbps.
The codec was developed by Qualcomm to spread the growing popularity of Hi-Res Audio. Their data speed is already 576kbps.
